Will I need any special equipment to participate in the Dock2Dock?

Yes, there are certain requirements for the event.

All swimmers must wear their NOWCA safety wristband

All swimmers must use a brightly coloured tow float.  This is supplied by the swimmer. (Available to hire / purchase in the event village)

Wetsuits are not compulsory for this

 event with the exception of the 12-16 age group in the 1.5k and 3k distances.  These swimmers must wear a full wetsuit and use a tow float (no shorties).  Full sleeveless wetsuits are allowed. 

** if you are wearing ANY neoprene, you will be considered to be in the wetsuit category.  Please amend your event entry accordingly.  (Changes can be made at the registration tent at the event)
